Meet Kayla

I’m Kayla — a wife, homeschooling mom of four (one in Heaven), and a passionate homesteader. Years ago, we took a leap of faith and built our home from the ground up in the Michigan countryside.

We started with a dream — to raise our kids in nature, close to animals, dirt, and fresh air. To eat real food, milk real cows, and live in step with God’s seasons. Now, we raise six milk cows, a flock of chickens and ducks, and a whole lot of joy (and chaos) in our little piece of land.

This space is my little corner of the internet to share what we’re learning, how we’re growing, and to invite others into this rhythm of slower, simpler living. Whether you're here for raw milk, homeschool ideas, or just to see chickens chase children — I’m so glad you stopped by.
